Thanksgiving, no doubt! There's nothing like the wonderful and delicious smells of a turkey in the oven, pies ing on the counter and sharing the feast with family and to make me all warm and fuzzy. Unfortunately in recent years any holidays or special events cause me heartache since my son, Joey, is no longer here to share them with us.

Hi , Sorry to hear about your son Joey. But God s us live with the lonelyness, and s us have all the great memories in our hearts. I love Christmas best. My Dad has been gone from us for 15 years now. We miss him terribly too. My Mom is 86 this Nov. 18. She celebrates with us every year. And now I have a little grand daughter to celebrate with. She is 6 years old. Such a delight. The Joy of my life.
Have a Happy Day.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Every year for the past 11 years I go to Mexico to visit my husband family. There many parties and the most I love are "posadas" this is when you go with the procession that have mary and joseph asking for shelter. we all go from house to house and there is always food and candy for the children. When they finally get shelter, there is a pinata and fireworks. I also like when my husband family gets together. There are so many of them we don't invite anyone because, all of us together are 40 people. He has a large family and we have fun. I don't have an immediate family, I lost my mom,dad and only brother and these people have d me and that is why is my favorite holiday.

I love Christmas. It is one of the few times of the year that I have my whole family together in one place. MINE!!
I get to spend lots of time with the grandsons too and hubby does all the cooking, I a little but he loves to cook. I make the desserts and then we all enjoy our meal.
It always is such a happy time of year for us.

I love them all, but Christmas and Valentines are my absolute favorites!! Gives me an excuse to indulge my love of all things Victorian, fancy, frilly, bright and shiny, ! And, I love to bake, so these are the two biggest holidays for me - Thanksgiving is fun, too, but there are only so many variations of pumpkin pie one can come up with at one time!
