Yes he is still alive. Everyone tells me they thought he was dead when I tell them about meeting him. He was in a movie that was just filmed at the retreat center where I work. Here is a picture of me and my daughter with him.

It really was . I got to talk with him a little bit and found out that he has been in over 200 movies, and has four stars on the hollywood walk of fame. He is the last of an era. You don't find actors like him anymore.
It's great to see Mickey Rooney! He is truly one of a kind, type of star! I might add, I concur w/Lulu: Your and your daughter, are really lovely!
