The Woman's Day Contest
Remember that I had said that I was a finalist in the Reader of the Year contest on Woman's Day, well the issue was the October 5,issue. On page 87 you will see my letter it's titled Like Mother like Daughter. They send me a congratulation letter telling me that I was a finalist out of 500 entries. I also got a Woman's Day Panel t-shirt, three cookbooks and a craft book. They also gave me the issue free. I was so proud when I got home I found the Express Mail box my husband had it for me and did not tell me until I got home from the hospital. Wow I am so proud my 15 minutes of fame in print.
