Summer School

Well, my oldest daughter failed two subjects, Math and Science. So off to the first day of summer school she goes tomorrow. As long as she passes these in summer school she can advance to the 7th grade. It sucks.

AND....I had to be EVIL mommy. I told her if she missed a homework assignment I would pull down a poster off her wall. Her walls are covered in posters of celebritys, horses and dogs. She was not too happy with that but I am trying to get it across to her just how important it is that she concentrate and pass. I hate being evil mommy.

I hope we survive summer school. It is a bummer. Anyone else in my boat?

mines not in summer school, just summer camp. But I understand the concept of putting your foot down when you have to. my daughter looses her puter every semester when mid terms come out. then when report cards come out, she pulls her grade back up to an a or b. then we just repeat the cycle...every semester!!

Is it hard for her or is she just being lazy? Chaz is very lazy always has been.

A couple of year ago Danielle had a hard time in math. We looked into different tutoring programs but decided to go to our local highschool to see if there were any seniors that would like to earn extra money to tutor. The girl we found was perfect! She made up math games for Danielle and would have Chaz and some of Danielle's friend over to play the games. (some of these were outside water games). It

Nope no kids in summer school this year.
Krystal did a fun summer school math and reading acadmey last year and really wanted to do it this year but was unable becouse she is going to be with her father the month of july

Amanda had a letter sent out about that she should go but i would have to pay for it and it was very costly.
She didn't fail anything so why go daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Lulu i know about being evil mommy i will not let my oldest take her cell phone with her in july when she goes with her father.

My son is in school all year round. He has a choice if he does good in school in the winter he did not so on July 5 he is off to school until August. That puts a big damper on mine and Tiffany's summer. It is ridiculous. Now he says he is going to cut school and not take the bus when it comes. Now you will have me getting up at 6 in the

to walk him to the bus. I am going to have a great summer. It sucks lemons.
