I decided that I want Chaz (13) and Danielle (11) to make dinner every Thursday. Tonight was Danielles' turn. She made Mac N Cheese w/ tuna mixed in. (One of her favorites) She did a great job as I stood by and made brownies. They can make easy meals but they have to try something new each week.

That is an awesome ! We won custody of my SD last summer. She was 13 in February. I REALLY need to start giving her some responsiblities like that. One night a week is a great start. Do your kids enjoy it or gripe about it? I think Caitlin would love it.
Neither one has complained yet. Danielle was very excited. I'm sure Chaz will complain when it's his turn. They are allowed to make anything that they want ..I just need to know when I grocery shop so I can pick it up.
