Angry Room cleaning :( :(

I am going nuts! My 11 year old is dragging her feet cleaning her room. It is making me nuts. My 7 and 9 year old did their room in just under an hour. Grrrrr......school starts tomorrow and I was hoping we could start the new year off CLEAN. OH WELL.

Welcome to the club, my son is a big slob I don't even go in his room anymore. His father does that. He needs clean , he start cleaning he knows I do not put clean in a dirty room. Now my daughter is 6 and she is begining to be a slob. She has her own room since she was two and her room was the neatest one in the house, now she started doing what her brother does. I gave up, one day when they are in school I will go in and they know that my policy is, if is on the floor and does not belong there it will go in the trash and there are no chances of getting it back unless they go to the dumpster in back of building. I told them I will do this on Monday and they think I am fooling, when there are no games and things they like in their rooms they will know I meant business. They know I don't replace things that are lost to their neglect. Once I start doing this they will come to their senses.
