hurt feelings

I have 2 boys 8, and 4, and then I have a 19 month old girl. She is ssssoooo different than the boys. When she is doing something wrong all I have to do is tell her to STOP and she does. If I say it too harsh she breaks down and cries, it is like I hurt her feelings. I have to be real careful with my tone in public or she will that that her mouth is open but nothing is coming out... I tell her to breath!!! The boys would just at me when they were little and I would tell them NO. Not her!!! Boys and girls are so different.

Agreed..but I don't think it's gender specific..just kids are different. My little girl didn't used to be like that when she was that little, but is now. Go figure.

Maybe that's a good thing...even though it is tough having one with such tender feelings.

I know, we look at her and think that she needs to toughen up a little, she will not survive in a house with 2 big brothers.

Girls get like that either early on or later but, in the long wrong they will toughen up, specially with brothers around believe she will probably be tougher than the boys. My oldest was like that, but, now she is tough ., she is still sensitive but, it takes a lot to make her . Tifany is very sensitive all I do is look at her and she start ing. Now I noticed that she is getting a little stronger. Remember we are hormonal whether we are big or small. She is practicing for PMS
