Question Potty training

I am wondering if any of you have experienced this, as my older daughter was talking in complete sentences and potty trained at 18 months. my youngest Alycen, seamed interested in the potty we got her one she thought that it was great even went once in it. then one day she is to death of it, wants nothing to do with it. she goes with me and her sister to the room and her fav thing to do is wave bye-bye when its flushed. she cant get her clothes off by herself so I havent pushed but everyone is like oh she should be training what wrong with her/you.

Alycen will be 2 May 29th

My son will be 2 on July 30th and is not even remotely interested in the potty. Maybe I should go check out that other thread too.

My triplets I have one girl and two boys I tried at 2 to train they wanted nothing to do with it made them my dr. told me to back off and wait till one showed a sign and that was my daughter at 3/ she was finally potty trained during the day only3/1/2 at night one son at three during the day only still having bladder issues and one son took till 4 1/2 like my dr said this is the only thing in there life they can control and you push to hard I did with my son peter and it made him regress and not want to use a potty at all I mean I bribed them all a little

We made a special trip to buy underwear they got to pick what kind and then when they were totally trained they got to have one thing like my daughter wanted an artset so she got a luncheon with mom and an art set my son ian wanted a space ship and he got that with lunch out with me and my son peter his was a little more but he took so long he got a bike. I hate when people say

they are not trained yet when they are ready WHEN THEY ARE READY NOT YOU it will go fast good luck.

Thanks for all the advice. I have not pushed the subject lately but have not put the potty away either. I have it in the livingroom next to her toys and she does actually sit on it when the mood strikes, although her fav. thing to do is open the lid and stand in the pot. I plan on talking her dr friday when we go for her 2 yr check up

My Littleun just turned 2 and sits on the potty 1/2 the time. He is wearing diapers, pullups AND big boy underwear. I am proud of his progress! I reward tries with stickers and "results" with a treat. He is doing well dontcha think?????

OK here is an update on my son. He is 2 years, 4 months. He wears a diaper at Naptime & bedtime only. All day he is in underwear and going potty! If we run errands I have him wear a Pampers easyUp, like a Pullup, but ONLY when we are running errands as I hate those things!!!
I think he is doing so well & I am so proud of him! Next we want to get him a racecar bed so we can Nighttime Potty train! We are shooting for Labor Day!

Go Duncan Go!
